Constantly on the search for great reuses of salvage materials…the possibilities are endless and exciting.
Earthwise Architectural Salvage has fabulous examples to get you inspired to incorporate salvage into your design transformations.
Bastille Cafe and Bar became a destination for transportation. Transporting you from Seattle, WA to a charming cafe in France. The cafe incorporates period architectural elements into the design. They used a Paris street light dating to the 1800s, a Paris Metro clock from 1950 and a large buttress from a French church. Another space like this does not exist anywhere in Washington. The cafe created a niche with architectural details that keeps people coming back.
We all know wine is better when it’s served on a reclaimed wood table. Bottlehouse makes this possible. Every table in their romantic space is made from salvaged wood and all of the wine is on display in old wire baskets or old dresser drawers. This video shows its amazingness best.
With corporate designs dominating our landscape it is so refreshing to find these fabulous one-of-a-kind spaces. Architectural salvage makes this possible. It keeps me inspired.

This cafe sounds incredible!!
It really does! I can’t wait to check it out when I’m in Seattle next!
