Continuing on my door theme, I have been searching high and low for gorgeous door photos. There is something so intriguing and captivating in a door. Mysterious. It begs for you to open it.

In college a mentor told me she preferred walking around her neighborhood at night rather than during daylight. Why? At night she had a better view of her neighbor’s interiors if they happened to leave the curtains open. I totally got that. I felt the same way! Now I know it sounds a bit crazy and definitely invades privacy but we just wanted to see how they had designed their interiors. Totally harmless.

Beautiful doors leave you wanting more. I want to go up to it, knock, and ask the owners for a tour. It would be wonderful if the world were that generous.
